CRA were commissioned to review a selection of expenditure categories to identify potential year-on-year cost benefits. Following their in-depth analysis and detailed report we were able to implement some of their recommendations by fine-tuning our purchasing practices in those areas that are already delivering significant cost savings.
As a result of CRA’s involvement it brought into clear focus our need to reappraise our approach to purchasing and having seen what is possible when using purchasing professionals has resulted in a significant overhaul of our purchasing department, process and personnel. CRA certainly bring a rigour and focus which quickly and clearly identifies any untapped potential hidden within a company’s supplier base.
